Originally from Pontiac, Mi. and married my high school sweetheart, Debbie, in 1974.
We moved to the Roscommon area in 1975 and operated a gas station/convenience store known as Tom's I-75 at exit 244.
In 1978 I obtained my real estate license. In 1981 I became an Associate Broker and bought the company I was licensed with. I operated both businesses and raised 3 children through the ensuing years.
I sold both companies in 2000 and opened a new start up business in 2001. This business sold manufactured and modular homes. To do this I became a licensed builder and a general contractor. I operated this business till 2005. During this time I built over 40 homes.
I then became a district manager for 6 manufactured home communities in both North and South Dakota.
I am now back to my first love, that of helping buyers and sellers in the real estate market.
My first love is my grand kids. They live in Atlanta, GA, which is too far away. When I am with them I am constantly chuckling and marvelling at their antics. My wife likes to say, "What have you done with my husband?!" She says I certainly was not like this when our kids were that age.
I have two sons and a daughter. Our oldest son, Chris, lives in Atlanta with his wife Nicholle and our two beautiful granddaughters. Our youngest son, David, lives in Covington, Kentucky and is in the banking business. Our youngest is our daughter, Kelly, who lives in East Lansing with her husband Zach and our two "furry" grandchildren. My wife's concern for her daughter is that she is entirely too much like her father.
My wife is very active in the church, being its seceratary and its music minister.
As for leisure I enjoy boating on beautiful Higgins Lake, golfing, bowling, and playing bridge when I can find a partner.
With my experience as an Associate Broker, I specialize in all phases of the real estate market.

Good morning Tom. I wanted to share my appreciation for all your efforts with helping Maggie and I find our family cottage. We are very thankful that you expanded our search to include the Houghton Lake area. We are ecstatic with our new cottage. We stayed their last weekend and did some cleaning and organizing, and are planning on visiting this weekend for the first time with our children. We are confident they are going to fall in love with it.
Also, thank you for your patience with us as we sorted out what we where looking for in a cottage. The multiple viewings you scheduled at Houghton Lake were just what we needed to solidify our cottage characteristic priorities.
Thank you again for all your help, and we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
